2 members of our Skeet Team traveled to the Shenecoy Sportsmen's Club in Huntingdon, PA for the 2025 USA High School Clay Target League PA State Skeet Tournament on Saturday, June 21st.

Ethan earned first place in the Junior Varsity Male division and Summer took first place in the Varsity Female division. She also received her medal and plaque for earning first place in the conference and high overall average in the state in skeet for the 2025 spring season.
19 members of our Trap Team traveled to Elysburg, PA for the 2025 USA High School Clay Target League PA State Trap Tournament on Sunday, June 1st.
Our trap team took 16th place out of the 42 high school teams that attended with a total score of 446. Team scores are based on the top 5 scores from all members of the team. Our top 5 were as follows:

Camden Flynn 89/100
Nick Pershing 89/100
Devin Coffey 87/100
Austin Coffman and Brody Schober 85/100
Congratulations to the following for placing in the top 25 of their divisions:
Summer Pavlik earned 2nd place out of 68 athletes in the Varsity Female Division with a score of 96/100 after reverse scores were applied. Summer also placed 12th overall out of all 814 shooters!!
Austin Coffman earned 7th place out of 194 athletes in the Junior Varsity Male Division with a score of 85/100 after the reverse scores were applied.
Jordan Nelson landed 20th place out of 75 athletes in the Novice Male Division with a score of 64/100 after the reverse scores were applied.

Coach Curt hosted a pizza party for the skeet team on November 10, 2024 to celebrate the end of the 2024 Fall Season. He presented the team with several awards. It was also a nice little send off to our Derry athletes as they’ll have their own team next season.

Congratulations to the 2024 Fall Season Skeet Team: Haydan, Summer, Coach Curt, Parker, Hunter, and Joe (missing Reid, Killian, Mac and Devin)
Summer Pavlik not only earned Top Gun in trap week 2, 3, skeet week 3…she was also our trap team’s OVERALL TOP GUN this season with an average of 23.7. Additionally, she scored 25-straights in weeks 2 and 5 for trap. Summer received metals from USA CLAY TARGET LEAGUE for FIRST PLACE conference female in skeet, and SECOND PLACE conference female in trap!!
Haydan Hood not only earned Top Gun in skeet week 1, 3, 4, 5…he was also our skeet team’s OVERALL TOP GUN this season with an average of 22.9. Additionally, he scored 25-straights in week 2 for trap, and week 1 and 4 in skeet. Haydan received a metal from USA CLAY TARGET LEAGUE for his FIRST PLACE conference male finish in skeet! He also was presented a plaque/trophy for taking FIRST PLACE OVERALL in skeet!!
Parker Queer received certificates for earning Top Gun in week 3 for skeet. It was a 3-way tie which he went on to win in a shoot off. He also scored 25-straights in week 3 and 5 for trap.

19 members of our Trap Team traveled to Elysburg, PA for the 2024 USA High School Clay Target League PA State Trap Tournament on Sunday, June 2nd.
Congratulations to Summer Pavlik for placing 1st in the Female Varsity division during the 2024 USA Clay Target Pennsylvania State Tournament. She ended the day with a score of 97/100. Her score placed her in 11th overall male/female combined. The highest score shot during the tournament was a 99/100. A total of 635 kids competed this year.
Congratulations to Jaden Saxton for placing 3rd in the Male Novice division.
Asher Alfaro, Jacob Hannah and Summer Pavlik were recognized for shooting 25/25 during one of their four rounds.
6 members of our Skeet Team participated in the 2024 USA High School Clay Target League "Virtual" PA State Skeet Tournament on Sunday, June 9th.
Our skeet team placed 6th overall. There was only one point separating 4th and 6th place. Top shooters in the following categories were as follows:
Varsity Male: Hayden Hood tied for 5th.
Jr. Varsity Male: Parker Queer 4th place.
Varsity Female: Summer Pavlik 3rd place.
Parker Queer was also recognized for shooting 25/25 during one of his four rounds.
2 members of our Trap Team traveled to Mason, Michigan for the 2024 USA High School Clay Target League National Championships held July 10th through the 14th.
Parker Queer and Joseph Musick competed in the individual qualifiers on Saturday morning. Parker scored a 98/100 which landed him in 130th place and earned him a spot amongst the 400 athletes advancing to the finals.
Parker went on to score 96/100 which placed him 182th overall and 164th top male on Sunday afternoon.
4 members of our team traveled to the Cardinal Event Center in Marengo, Ohio for the 2024 SCTP National Championships that took place from July 13th through 20th.
Reed Razza, Haydan Hood, Jacob Hannah, and Joseph Musick competed in 200 American Skeet and 200 Singles Trap.
Reed Razza and Joseph Musick also competed in Sporting Clays.
